Abstract
This article first defines the meaning of “HeFu
culture” and then analyzes its contemporary value as follows: political value;
spiritual value; cultural value; ethical value; and military value. Finally, it
discusses the significant importance of promoting hefu culture: it helps to
reconstruct a natural worldview of harmony between heaven and humanity; it
helps to reestablish an ethical outlook of family harmony; it helps to rebuild
a moral outlook of interpersonal harmony; it helps to restore a health-oriented
view of body-mind harmony; it helps to reconstitute a civilizational outlook of
global harmony; and it helps to establish an orderly economic outlook of
harmony.
